Today is your final chance to take advantage of the $50 summer adoption special at Mesa County Animal Services!

Did you know mattresses are 95% recyclable? But when they end up in a landfill, they take up air space and cause major equipment damage. That's why the Mesa County Landfill has joined forces with Spring Back Colorado Mattress Recycling to make a positive change.

Beginning July 17, 2023, Mesa County and Sorter Construction, INC. will implement road improvements on W. Scenic Dr. The project consists of the installation of drainage improvements, including channels, storm drain, area inlet, and riprap from Scenic Elementary to the north side of the driveway at 473 ½ and 475 W. Scenic Drive.

Grand Valley Transit will be free system wide throughout the month of August and the last week of July, 2023.

Mesa County RTPO worked closely with District 51 to encourage elementary and middle school students to walk or bike to/from school with a district wide contest.
