Bobbie Daniel, Chair to the Board of Mesa County Commissioners, spent the last three days representing our community at the NACo Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. This conference brought together nearly 2,000 county officials to discuss federal policies that directly impact counties and our residents.

Mpox vaccines available at Public Health Clinic amidst new cases

A small number of mpox cases, formerly known as monkeypox, are confirmed in Mesa County. The local disease surveillance team is working collaboratively with local health systems and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to identify and limit exposure to others.

Presidential Primary Election ballots are in the mail

Presidential Primary Election ballots were mailed to all active Mesa County registered voters on Monday, Feb. 12. Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. An Election Day postmark does not count.
