Background Checks

Requests for background checks can be made anytime in person at the Records Counter. Background checks consist of arrest records from the Mesa County Sheriff's Office ONLY.

To process a background check, you must bring a valid picture ID and a completed request form. These requests are usually processed while you wait.

Fee: $5.00/person

We accept the following methods of payment to pay fees:

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Money Order
  • All major credit cards are accepted with an additional fee.
