Get started with convenient illness testing.
The Mesa County Public Health Clinic can test adults and children ages 5+ for:
- COVID-19
- Flu (Type A and B)
- RSV
- Strep
COVID-19, flu, and RSV testing
- With a single nasal swab, we can test for Influenza A and B, COVID-19, and RSV.
- Cost $150, insurance may cover some of the cost.
Strep testing
- Rapid strep testing available using a throat swab.
- Cost $50, insurance may cover some of the cost.
- Patients can receive a prescription to treat a positive strep test.

Clinic hours for testing
- We have flexible scheduling available for testing Monday - Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Or you can walk in without an appointment Monday - Thursday from 2 - 4 p.m.
Results
- We process the test on site. Results available in approximately 24 hours. You will receive a phone call from our staff.
Insurance
- Patients should bring their insurance card with them to the appointment in order to bill their insurance. You can still receive the testing without insurance.
