Whitewater Hill
Learn about the facility
Whitewater Hill is a spectacular site that overlooks much of the Grand Valley. The site is home to the Western Colorado Dragway, the Grand Junction Trap Club, the Grand Junction Modeleers Club, a CDL certification training pad, and a Colorado Law Enforcement Training Center. The training facility property is owned by Colorado Mesa University with an Intergovernmental Agreement between CMU, Mesa County, and the City of Grand Junction.

Mission Statement
To offer NHRA sanctioned drag racing to Western Colorado racers and race fans.
Open on Friday evenings and Saturdays

Offers recreational and competitive shooting. The public is welcome at all scheduled events.
Open shooting is available Sunday 10:00-2:00 summer hours, and 10:00-2:00 winter hours.

A RC Model Aeronautics Club, the space allows members to fly on more than 15 acres of space. The general public is welcome to visit and watch.
A regional public safety training location to conduct firearms training, emergency response driving, defensive tactics, and arrest control for law enforcement and Colorado POST approved training academies.
