Salary Information for County Employees
Listings of employee salaries are published twice a year in the County’s local newspaper. The State Statute was changed to allow the salaries to be published by title rather than name.
Every February, the salary publication shows the annual amount paid to each employee for the previous year. The total amount also includes any overtime wages. The salary publication each year in August shows the amount paid to each employee for the Month of June.
NOTE: Salaries above do not include the County’s monthly contribution for insurance premiums. Other benefits for permanent employees include employer contributions for FICA, retirement, worker’s compensation, accidental death and dismemberment and long-term disability premiums. Benefits average approximately 26% of gross salaries.
