Mesa County Landfill recycles mattresses, and you can play a part in keeping old mattresses out of the landfill.

Did you know mattresses are 95% recyclable? But when they end up in a landfill, they take up air space and cause major equipment damage. That's why the Mesa County Landfill has joined forces with Spring Back Colorado Mattress Recycling to make a positive change.

It costs the Mesa County Landfill approximately $40 to recycle each mattress but you can recycle your mattress for a $15 special waste fee per mattress and box spring.  

Give your old, grungy mattress a whole new purpose. Stop by the Mesa County Landfill Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. or Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
