You can expect ADA-compliant ramps around the Patterson/F Road Overlay 2023 project, as the Board of Mesa County Commissioners approved the $375,591 contract for the Mesa County 2023 ADA Replacement Project at the Oct. 10 administrative public hearing.

Along with replacing ADA ramps, the project aims to ensure the public has a safe area to stand while waiting to cross the intersection and plenty of room to pass on ramps when another pedestrian is present. The project will also establish safe slopes and a smooth transition between the ramp and the new asphalt, clear of hazards.

Accessibility for all residents and visitors is the County's priority. The project adheres to legal requirements and prioritizes the well-being and convenience of individuals with disabilities.
