Work to begin on Independence Valley asphalt crack repairs

Work to improve the Independence Valley subdivision road network will begin on July 9, 2024, north of the subdivision and move south toward Highway 340. Please use caution, slow down, and look out for personnel near the construction zone. Traffic will continue as usual. 

The planned work includes milling, crack repair, and asphalt patching at selected locations. Additionally, minor crack-sealing efforts will be undertaken before applying a cape seal treatment across all roads within the subdivision. This extensive approach aims to significantly enhance the road's durability and driving quality, ensuring a smoother and safer experience for residents and visitors alike.

Project Schedule 

Project start date: July 9, 2024 

Operations are in order Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

The anticipated completion date is July 13, 2024. 

'No Parking' signs will be placed 24+ hours in advance
