In July, Mesa County will begin a project to enhance drainage along the west side of West Scenic Drive in the Redlands.

Construction crews will install a Type C inlet and a 256 LF of 18" Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) to ensure efficient water flow and prevent any potential flooding issues.

After a diligent review of three bids, a $117,495.75 contract for Sorter Construction to complete the project was approved during the June 27 administrative public hearing.

Construction is anticipated to start in July and should be completed before school begins in August.

Stay tuned for updates as the West Scenic Drive Drainage Improvement Project develops.
