The Noxious Weed Advisory Board has volunteer opportunities

Calling all noxious weed experts! 

Are you passionate about protecting native vegetation and agricultural lands? Mesa County needs your expertise! We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our Noxious Weed Advisory Board.

As a valued member of the Board, you will have the opportunity to declare noxious weeds and make recommendations to the Mesa County Board of Commissioners that will shape the future of our County's management plan for designated noxious weeds. In addition, you may be assigned other important tasks that contribute to our mission.

To be considered for this position, we request that you meet the following requirements: 

• Ownership of 40 unincorporated acres 
• Willingness to commit your time to attend one to four meetings per year
