Mesa County Department of Human Services will hold a resource fair this Saturday, June 29th along with community partners. Please join us from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Orchard Mesa Lions Park (2770 US-50) to learn about resources available for foster, kinship and adoptive families.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the support that exists in Mesa County for foster families. In addition to MCDHS, partner agencies include Ariel Clinical Services, Cobbled Streets, Colorado State Foster Parent Association, Foster Source, Hope’s Promise, Kin Connect, Project 1.27 and WhimSpire.

“Being a foster parent is one of the most challenging and rewarding things anyone can do,” says Sarah St. Martin, MCDHS Child Welfare Supervisor. “We’re grateful for families who are serving the community by providing homes for children and youth, which is why we want to offer this resource fair and support them in any way we can.”

Attendees can expect a fun day out with kids enjoying games, food and prizes. This event is free and no registration is required.
