During last week's administrative public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners approved the Coffman Road Project.

The project, estimated at $586,698 for the design, aims to enhance the Coffman Road Corridor from the Mesa County Landfill entrance south to State Hwy. 141.

The project is divided into two crucial phases to ensure the best possible outcome. Phase 1 involves an in-depth study of civil and geotechnical engineering alternatives for the Coffman Road Corridor. Experts will evaluate the most suitable solutions for the corridor's improvement.

Once Phase 1 is complete, the project will transition into Phase 2. This phase will focus on developing 100 percent engineering plans for the first prioritized section of the roadway. These detailed plans will pave the way for smoother transportation and improved infrastructure.

The project will provide a more efficient environment for all commuters.

Stay tuned for updates on the Coffman Road Project as we embark on the project.
