2022 Primary Election Canvass and Certification are complete

Mesa County Elections is pleased to announce that the politically appointed canvass board has convened, reviewed our records, and certified the 2022 Primary Election Results. The results are now official.

After each election and after a thorough audit has been conducted, the two major political parties and Election officials verify there are no more ballots cast than eligible voters, and then they certify the results.

"Our election team and judges went through extensive training and executed the processes and procedures outlined by law to ensure a fair and transparent election," said Director of Elections and current Designated Election Official Brandi Bantz. "I want to express how extremely proud and thankful I am to everyone who helped us conduct this election!"

"Many county departments are involved and deserve recognition for the time and effort they contribute to ensuring each election is successful," added Bantz.
