The De Beque Community Center, 305 E. Fourth St., is almost ready to open its doors to community members, and we are excited to invite you to the ribbon-cutting event on June 29 at 3 p.m. Bring your family and friends to this celebration of a new home for fun and resources opening to our community.

The ceremony will give you the opportunity to tour the community center on its opening day, enjoy refreshments with friends and neighbors, and hear insights about the new campus straight from your community leaders.

"We are delighted to extend this invitation for our community to join us in welcoming such an exciting addition to De Beque," Chair to the Board of Mesa County Commissioners Bobbie Daniel said. "The De Beque Community Center was part of a promise made to residents in 1981, and it is an honor to be part of opening its doors."

The ribbon cutting is open to all, and we look forward to celebrating this community milestone with you at the event.
