Mesa County Commissioner Janet Rowland and several county officials recently attended the town of Collbran's annual BBQ in honor of National Night Out. The event holds significant importance for the town as it celebrates past achievements and serves as an occasion for fostering community bonds.

As Melonie, the Town Manager, extended a warm invitation to the county officials, they eagerly embraced the opportunity to be part of this special gathering, foregoing a traditional Town Hall meeting to immerse themselves in the heart of Collbran.

Collbran's BBQ has become a cherished tradition in the tight-knit community, symbolizing unity, celebration, and gratitude.

By engaging in such events, county officials have the opportunity to listen to the concerns, ideas, and aspirations of the residents directly. This interactive approach lays the foundation for stronger bonds between the public and local government representatives, ultimately leading to better-informed decisions that align with the needs and desires of the community.
