Contract approved for construction of the De Beque Community Hall

De Beque is one step closer to having a community hall at the corner of 4th Street and Roan Creek Drive where community members can gather. 

County Commissioners approved a $4,965,391 contract for the construction of the De Beque Community Hall, beginning this summer of 2023. 

Mesa County has hosted several open house events at the De Beque Town Hall to gather feedback from residents on the amenities and activities they hope to see at the future community hall. 

The De Beque Community Hall will home a full commercial kitchen, indoor and outdoor areas for gatherings, a playground, and restroom facilities. 

This project is an addition to Mesa County’s Community Halls Project and aims to offer the community a place to host meetings and get-togethers and participate in recreational and educational activities.

The anticipated completion date is the fall of 2024.
