Successful Cleanup Preserves Quality of Life in Our Community
In a collaborative effort to safeguard our natural environment, Mesa County Code Compliance Services Officers Kelsie Lefevre and Greg St. Martin, Hazardous Materials Manager Daryl Hillyer, and Delta County Code Compliance Officer Everett Neil led a successful encampment cleanup at 3240 C 1/2 Rd's walking trail near the Clifton Nature Park.
Assisted by Deputy Benjamin Walton from the Mesa County Sheriff's Office, the cleanup team and dedicated volunteers from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints worked tirelessly to restore the area's natural beauty by removing all junk and debris.
Their hard work enhanced the visual appeal of the location while safeguarding the environment and wildlife.
"Preserving our natural resources and maintaining a clean environment is a collective responsibility," said Senior Code Compliance Officer Greg St. Martin. "We are thrilled to have worked alongside such dedicated individuals and volunteers who share the same passion for our community's well-being."
The success of this cleanup highlights the importance of ongoing community efforts to preserve and maintain a clean environment. It serves as a reminder of the impact each individual can make when they contribute their time and resources to a greater cause.
