In a successful effort to maintain cleanliness and safety, Code Compliance Services undertook a cleanup operation on April 27 as part of the county's property/lands inspection initiative. The operation focused on the encampment located beneath the 29 Road Bridge.

The site was cleared of a large amount of waste, black water, and debris. Measures were taken to ensure that no pollution from the debris ended up in the nearby river.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office provided valuable support by erecting signage to deter trespassing and discourage junk accumulation under the 29 Road Bridge, helping prevent future issues.

Looking ahead, Code Compliance Services plans to clean up Clifton Nature Park, furthering its mission to promote cleanliness and safety within Mesa County.
