Are you ready to embark on an incredible journey of love and companionship? Join The Mesa County Foster Pet Challenge and experience the joy of fostering a pet and building lasting memories.

The Foster Pet Challenge is a joint initiative between Mesa County and Roice-Hurst Humane Society. It aims to inspire the community to open their hearts and homes to temporarily foster pets, providing them care and comfort while they await adoptive homes. The campaign's ambitious goal is to find 100 new foster families in just 100 days, from June 20 through September 28, 2023.

Summertime is the busiest season for animal shelters, and our community's shelters have full kennels and growing waiting lists of pets needing safe places to go. Foster care expands the capacity of our shelters and allows more pets to receive the care they need.

We challenge you to open your heart and home to a foster pet during this time of need. To get started as a foster family and welcome a shelter pet into the safety and comfort of your home, learn more and sign up at RHhumanesociety.org/foster!
