Commissioner Bobbie Daniel had the opportunity to speak at the Collbran Job Corps Graduation at 57608 CO-330 in Collbran to help celebrate the accomplished graduates. 

Collbran Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center is one of 24 centers known as Civilian Conservation Centers. The U.S. Forest Service operates the centers and encourages students to learn in nature and work to sustain and improve the land they live on. 

Whether you are working to obtain your GED, need assistance finding your perfect career, or want a community of like-minded individuals to support you in your workforce journey, Collbran Job Corps has the tools and environment to help you thrive. The best part is, it’s free!

Income-qualified citizens ages 16 to 24 can join the Job Corps program. 

Housing, medical care, healthy meals, school supplies, training clothing, allowance, and childcare are available throughout your experience, so your main focus is your personal development.
