Notice - 2023 Electrical Code (effective 06-12-2023)
Mesa County will start enforcement of the 2023 NEC effective June 12, 2023.
Applications made or permits issued prior to June 12, 2023 will be enforced under the 2020 NEC.
Any 2023 code requirement that is less restrictive than the 2020 NEC will continue to be enforced under the 2020 NEC until such date as the state adopts the 2023 NEC.
Mesa County will start enforcement of
